Alejandro Lopez, MS, CSCS, SCCC, USAW

Alejandro Lopez is the Director of Sports Performance at PSP

 

He designed and implemented programs that trained many professional, college, and school-age athletes to improve all aspects of athleticism including the Orlando Sharks Professional soccer team and The USA National Softball Team. Coach Lopez is a professor at the University of Central Florida. He holds graduate and post-graduate degrees in Sports Psychology from Florida State University and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association, and United States Weightlifting.  Coach Lopez has been training athletes of all ages and abilities for over 23 years serving as an Assistant Strength Coach and Sport Psychology consultant at Florida State University; a Strength and Conditioning Coach for minor league teams of the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Cincinnati Reds; as the Non Commissioned officer in Charge of Personal Fitness and Training in the United States Army; and as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Birmingham Southern College where he was responsible for designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for over 200 Division I collegiate athletes in 14 NCAA sports including Big South Conference Champions in Mens Soccer, Women's, golf and Mens Basketball Programs.
